I have been going to JR longer than I’d like to admit. I’m very particular and have tried many stylists before him. He has made me very happy and I will continue going to him as long as possible. The best in Albuquerque.

JR has been cutting my hair for two years. He is prompt; easy to have a conversation with and I really like the way he cuts my hair. He plays great music in his salon. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

I have been a client of both his father and then J.R. himself. I actually think he's as good as or maybe even better than his father was. J.R. loves his work and it shows. There is no one better to take care of your hair and present you at your best.

I've been going to JR for more than 20 years and wouldn't trust anyone else to cut my hair. From our first meeting it was obvious that he was an expert in his field. I told him the different ideas that I had for my style, and he explained which ideas could work and which could not. He gave detailed and clear reasons, including my hair type, the thickness, and the direction it grew out of the follicles. At the end of the discussion, he had gained so much of my trust that I asked him to do whatever he thought would look best. It was the best haircut I had ever had, and he continues to impress me every time I go in.

JR has been cutting my hair for the past 29 years since we moved to ABQ. JR is quite skilled and is quite the professional. I have seen JR grow over the past years to allow him to establish his own business and be successful. JR is the best!

I won't let anyone with a scissors near my hair except for JR & that's been the case for at least 20 yrs. I'm spoiled! He is exceptionally talented & has a natural, intuitive understanding of each individual's hair. JR has been able to style & cut my long, fine hair in a way that encourages its natural wave & body, something no one else has been able to achieve. This means that I just wash my hair, let it dry naturally, & then take a comb to it-- the compliments have been pouring in for years!

I have my hair cut every three weeks, and I always look forward to the experience. I am very particular about the appearance of my hair. I am in my 70's, and it is amazing how many compliments I get! Additionally, JR is a very professional but personally caring gentleman. It is a true pleasure to visit his Salon!

JR is very talented at his skill. He listens to his client but adjusts what the client says to the client's individual hair type. When I leave his salon, ladies will stop me and ask who styles my hair.

JR is an amazing stylist!! I've been getting my hair cut by him nearly 20 years (has it been that long?). Whatever picture I may bring in, he has helped cut it/style it perfectly, or if it doesn't work with my hairs texture, his opinion is always right on. You will be very pleased with his work!!
